What to Say

What do I say when I can't say a word?
My stomach hurts, my legs are weak, my hands are shaky, and my head is swimming.
What do I say when I can't find the words?
You never talk to me, so I don't talk to you.
We're so close together yet two worlds apart.

How can I feel for you, when I can't feel a thing?
I'm numb all over.
How can I feel for you when you don't feel for me?
I know you, and yet you're a stranger.
You've turned, you're different.

I try to forgive, but then forget I did.
I try to forget, but then remember I did.
There're so many things I don't know about.
You never confide.
You say you have no one but I'm right here.

How can I love you, when you don't love me?
How can I love you and hate you?
I don't know, but I do.
I do love you, no matter what, and I want you to know that.
I love you, and God does to.
